Michael Fargo geological style foam and porcelain vessels. By roughly tearing away the foam and dipping into porcelain the vessels take on a rocky, organic appearance and their original material is transformed. They are very interesting forms but for my work I think they are a bit too heavy and dense compared to the rest of my work.
Mickael Boulay has created ‘transition’ cutlery that develops the motor skills of handicapped people, helping them to practice their hand eye coordination and develops their skills so they can use cutlery without assistance. As well as being useful they are very beautifully styled and the very basic objects still manage to capture the functionality of ordinary cutlery.
